Training:
 

Training is a learning process. Training can happen with a trainer or without trainer. You can learn hardly 20% from a trainer and you have the potential to learn 80% yourself. You can learn 20% from your peers and colleagues by close interaction. You can learn another 20% by listening to resource people, reading relevant books , using media and internet etc. You can learn further 20% by applying all your learning into your day today activities and learn from the experiences. By using your creativity and imagination, you can learn another 20% - permutation & combination of all leaning from different methods. Hence self training is the best option.

Since self training is the best option, you have to really take efforts to learn more to manage all your challenges and as well achieve your goals. If you learn effectively, you can manage any situation / challenge. You need regular training to improve your performance in every aspect of your work. The moment you stop your training, you get stagnated. Training cannot happen automatically, but you have to program it and only then you can achieve all your set goals. Training is a self decision and no one can force you to learn, but can influence you to learn.

You should not take interest in all training opportunities, but only the kind of training you need really. Training is a lifelong process and should not end at any particular age or stage of your life. Daily you have to think as what you have to learn. If you review your goals and performance of the previous day, you can understand your limitations and you can program to learn the needed aspects. If you listen to others feedback about you and if you recognize them, you can find areas to learn further.

Every other person around you is a video camera watching you, even when you are not conscious about that. So, every person around you – at home – at work place – in the society have valuable information about you and only you have to download them to your knowledge bank and take advantage. If you have an urge to ACHIEVEMORE, then you have to be more positive and keen to learn every day, from every person and from every situation / activity.

When you have training opportunities with trainers, do not try to learn whatever they give you. Most of the trainers simply download their knowledge to trainees without considering the needs and expectations of the trainees and therefore only many a times training programs are not that useful and trainees do not give much attention during training. In many cases, training programs are not taken as a learning opportunity, but a change in their routine work life. You are responsible for your training and hence only you have to decide what to learn. It is difficult to get whatever you want from others and hence only you have to take your own efforts to learn what you need.

Learning :
 
On the other hand, you may have to relearn the same thing again. Many people think that as why they should relearn, whatever they know. You need to update your learning, otherwise it will be outdated. Relearning is exactly to update you on the same aspect. Sometimes, relearning can act as reinforcement and you may use the learning more. Relearning reminds you of the importance of it and motivates you to apply it more seriously. Sometimes, you may have several issues in your learning and in that case your relearning can help sort out the issues and can give you the clarity and confidence on the learning.
 
Most of the people think that learning is obtaining more knowledge. Of course it is also part of learning and it is not all the learning. Almost every person has considerable knowledge of their life domains, but struggling to achieve their day to day life goals. In other words, simply having knowledge cannot help achieve our goals. You need to have the positive attitude towards every aspect of our life. While you have adequate knowledge on one aspect and not positive on it, you may not use that knowledge adequately. So, attitude development is also an important dimension of learning.
 
Finally, learning is a process of developing knowledge /awareness on an aspect, developing positive attitudes towards that aspect and developing the abilities to apply / practice the knowledge of the aspect in day today life. If you learn all these 3 aspects of any subject, only then you can consider your learning as adequate or otherwise, your learning is partial. Partial knowledge is almost lack of knowledge. So try to focus on awareness development, attitude development and abilities development on every subject you deal with to ACHIEVEMORE. Try to evaluate all your learning and try to learn adequately. Learning is not for the sake of learning, but to manage all your challenges and achieve your goals.

So in every situation, you may have to audit your behavior and understand as which are the behavior can help you achieve the expected goal and which are the behavior may block your goal achievement. Then you have to take efforts to manage your behavior in order to achieve your goals. In other words, you may have to accept regular behavior modification and you have to adopt the learning which can help you modify the needed behavior suitably. This process of learning is a real and effective learning.

The purpose of learning is to modify our behavior to manage our challenges and achieve our goals. Everyone will have set of behavior as an outcome of their brought up, education, experience, environment etc. In every situation, some behavior may help achieve the goals and some may block the goal achievement. Behavior is a dynamic aspect. The behavior blocking your progress today, may help achieve your goals later. Similarly behavior helping you achieve your goals today may block your progress later.

So in every situation, you may have to audit your behavior and understand as which are the behavior can help you achieve the expected goal and which are the behavior may block your goal achievement. Success / ACHIEVEMORE

Success need not be taken as a very big success in life. Actually you have to understand it as ACHIEVEMORE. Every day you can ACHIEVEMORE and hence it is a very simple concept and you have to have it as a way of life. 

If you achieve whatever you have planned yesterday, it is an achievement and success. If you can achieve a little more than what you have planned, it is also an achievement and success. If you can achieve little more than yesterday or in the past, it is also an achievement and success. 

If you can achieve something, which you could not achieve in the past, it is also an achievement and success. If you achieve something for the first time in your life, it is also an achievement and success. If you could achieve something which others did not or could not, it is also an achievement and success. 

If you do something and others appreciate you for the results, it is also an achievement and success. If you find a new strategy to do your job better, it is also an achievement and success. If you conceive a new idea to use your potentials better, it is also an achievement and success. 

Success is therefore ACHIEVEMORE. ACHIEVEMORE is improving your performance and effectiveness every day and in everything. You need not compare your success with others always, but compare your success in the past with your current success.

In other words, monitor your growth regularly and take efforts to improve your achievements. The secretes are learning and behavior modification. You can very well do it, if you have the mind. ACHIEVEMORE is a culture and a way of life. You have to determine to ACHIEVEMORE every day.
