Professional Profile

Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore, N.A, Tamil Nadu : He has started his career with CMCH, teaching Community Health Management to medical professionals. Also he was practicing HR / Management in community development, through  training & consultancy to other leading health institutions in the country. He had coordinated a 15 months course - DCHM (Diploma in Community Health Management), had 50% international students, for 6 years. He had served the organization for 12 years.

Asian Centre For Organization Research & Development, Delhi : ACORD was primarily working with leading corporate, Government departments & corporate NGOs for their organizational development through consultancy, training & research. He was working as HR / Management  Consultant and served this organization for 2 years.

World Bank Project (water & sanitation), Hyderabad, A.P :  He had joined the project  as a Consultant on 1 year contract to work for Andhra Pradesh, Bihar & Orissa.  UNICEF & Netherland Government were the  collaborators of this project. His job was to work with the chief engineers of public works departments  to evolve the needed HRD project. His job involved situation assessment, curriculum development, training of trainers and equip the personnel to manage the project.

Plan International, A Funding agency in USA :  He was hired by this organization on a one year contract to work as India representative to monitor its 20 corporate NGOs working in different states. The NGOs were working in the fields of community health with a focus on child development.

Aide et Action, a funding agency in France : He was hired by this organization on one year contract as Consultant to work for its 15 NGOs in India. His job was to organize training programs, conduct  evaluation  studies and give reports on individual NGOs to the funding agency.

Village Services Trust, a funding agency in U.K :  This organization hired him as a Consultant for one year to work as its  India representative to help develop its 5 NGOs in Tamil Nadu and  monitor their progress.

Independent Consultant  :  He has been working as a free lancer for the last 15 years. He is been working for Corporate, NGOs, Educational institutions and success loving individuals. Also he is engaged in social work to improve the quality of life of rural people and also doing research to sharpen his strategies to make people achieve more. He has developed self-introspection, a powerful tool for people to get sensitized on their realities fast and to reorganize appropriately to manage their challenges. He has developed more self-training methods for people to train themselves adequately. 

Guide to international students on Research projects : Apart from his routine jobs with the organizations served, he had guided more than hundred international students came from several universities, referred by international experts, in their research projects, which were part of their university curriculum.

Training foreigners on Indian culture : He was organizing one week to one month training programs, for foreigners on Indian culture. He had helped them, understand the various dimensions of Indian culture through sessions and also with actual live in experience modules.

Working with international experts : He had the privilege of working with eminent personalities of world repute in different fields, on various HRD projects. He had regular working relationship with many foreign universities regarding research projects of their students, exposure to Indian culture and developing cultural collaboration with Indian villages. 

HRD  experiment  with students :  He had trained 900 school students of age 9 to 14 with HRD concepts for one year to improve their Academic personality and also to develop the core soft skills to manage their life challenges, in collaboration with BHEL -  Ranipet, Lioness club - Vellore & Rotary / Lions club – Kancheepuram. It was highly appreciated  as effective by sponsors &  parents. It was the driving force in evolving mentoring and coaching program for executives using  more of self-training methods.

Study Circle : Organized a public speaking forum, Study Circle, for staff to improve their communication / presentation / professional skills through presentation of their achievements, experiential sharing, library review etc.. and also by encouraging them to think critically and ask effective questions during others presentation for  6 years.
 
Publications:   During his stay with CMC -Vellore, he was the editor of a monthly Tamil magazine,  “RUHSA MALAR”, dedicated to community health & development, for one year. Also personally he had run a Tamil monthly magazine,  “Namadhu Samudayam”, dedicated to women & development for  3 years. He had authored a self-improvement book in English, “YOU CAN ACHIEVE MORE”. He has plans to publish more self-improvement books covering every aspect of achieving more.

Mission

He is committed to help all those, who have an urge to achieve more with his mentoring and self-introspection programs. Hence, he is  keen to work with corporate, social clubs, educational institutions and Government departments to promote his Achievemore concepts through possible collaboration. Also, he would like to sensitize the experts to make their expertise reach the people, at a low or no cost.

He is longing to extend all his expertise to people at large, through internet and make it as more cost effective and affordable even to an ordinary person, as part of his professional social responsibility. He strongly believes that thousands of people – his trainers, clients, trainees, associates etc. had contributed to sharpen his managerial / HRD skills, over these years. Hence, sincerely he wants to give all his expertise back to the people at large, as his contribution to the society.
